Perth is the capital of Western Australia with a population of 1,659,000 people and is one of the most secluded metropolitan areas in the world. It is a great city and is 9th on the list of the world's most livable cities which was produced by The Economist.

Perth is one site that has been heavily photographed by many people because there numerous different opportunities to capture the magic that radiates from it. The skyline itself is awe inspiring because the clouds mesh perfectly with the sunset and the fact that the city sits right along the river makes the picture opportunities endless.

Another location that should be visited and also photographed is the Barracks Archway. Not only is an absolutely breathtaking in both person and in pictures but it has a rich history has well. It used to be a barracks with 120 different rooms designed by Richard Roch Jewell. The actually barracks when selves were destroyed in 1966 in order to construct a freeway but the archway remained to keep some part of the rich history surrounding it.

The nature lover in you will definitely want to make a stop at the falls which can be found at the Araluen Botanic Park located in Western Australia. It has a total are of roughly 100 acres and is open year round so no matter what time of the year you decide to visit you will be able to access it and see the beauty located here. The park is natural with some of the vegetation being native while many exotic plants have also been brought in to accent and make the botanical garden complete.

The Indiana Teahouse which dates back to 1910 along the shores of Cottesloe Beach faces the ocean. It used to be a restaurant as well as a location for the Palais de Danse. It has undergone quite a few changes since it was originally built and now it stands where a beach kiosk was located after it was erected in 1996. The Indian Ocean is a fantastic view while enjoying a meal such as dinner and watching the sun set over the water.

Another site that is visited often just to capture a beautiful photograph is the Crawley Edge Boatshed which is located in Crawley, a suburb of the city of Perth and is only 3 miles away from it. It is one of the most photographed locations in the entire town. History claims that the boatshed was originally built during the 1930's. The ownership has been transferred quite a few times but the refurbishing process did not occur until the early years of the 2000's. The two men David Dicks and Jon Sanders re-launched the building during this time period.

Of course these aren't the only locations in Perth that should be photographed as the city has many gems which can be found in it to make memories that last a lifetime.
