There are some people who believe that applying deodorant for the underarms will prevent the formation of stains. The stains on the underarms can be quite visible because of its yellowish color. It is the sweat that is the cause of the problem. Some people also like using powder for the underarms to avoid getting the stains. There is no sure way how to get rid of underarm stains but there are methods you can try at home.

1. The first popular method is to put the garment in a basin with a cup of vinegar as soon as you remove the clothing. It is also not good to overuse the bleach for fabric. Some white clothes can really get whiter with bleach but putting too much can also damage it. Other clothes can react differently as well making the finish look a little yellow. You can also try using a color remover you can buy in supermarkets. You can buy a color remover for the normal type of fabric.

2. The second popular method is washing them out by using 2 gallons of water that should be cold. Mix it with a half cup of vinegar and one teaspoon of detergent that should be in liquid form. You can also put a half cup of dishwashing powder soap with a half cup of bleach for fabric on a basin or a container. Soak the clothing and let it stand for a while.

4. The fourth popular is applying a liberal amount of baking soda on the stains. You can also put some water on it and let it stand for at least twenty minutes. Then you rinse the garment with water afterwards.

5. The fifth popular method is using things in the house you would not think of using for clothes at all. You can dampen a white chalk and rub it on the stain. You can also use a cup of colorless mouthwash and let it stand for twenty minutes then wash it afterwards. You can also use one tablet of aspirin. Mix the aspirin with some water to make a paste. Put the aspirin paste on the stained areas and let it stand for one whole night then wash it in the morning. You can also use the toothbrush to remove the remaining stains before washing it.

6. The sixth popular method is exposing the clothing under the sunlight for one whole day after washing the clothes. You can also put some bleach on it before exposing it.
