Getting the most lifetime value out of your customers and subscribers is the key to becoming successful in internet marketing in the long-term. However, you need to concentrate consistently on compiling a targeted email list of subscribers if you wish to derive this value fully, as you can follow up with them and promote more of your products to them at a later date. A squeeze page is the best way to turn your visitors into subscribers as it's only function is to collect the emails of your visitors. Due to the fact that this page doesn't serve any other function, it is bare of anything that might constitute a distraction.

Analyzing the individual elements of a squeeze page is the best way to increase its conversion rate and ensure you are getting the best results.

Do not think that a fancy page with blinking graphics is the way to go; that will only cause people to miss your message. Your most desired response for your squeeze page is for the visitor to give up contact information. That is the whole purpose for making the best page possible. You can't have ads running on it or any other parallel offers, because this is the landing page where your potential subscribers will be coming to. Your results will suffer a lot if you put other things up that take away from your offer. So make sure there are no banner ads, no AdSense, and no other competing offer.

You need to make sure that you don't add any bells and whistles to your squeeze page and ensure it is as simple as possible. The whole point of a squeeze page is to maximize the number of conversions of visitors into subscribers. Your squeeze page shouldn't be too busy and, in fact, it should be quite basic and concise. Just because you put up a basic page, doesn't mean you are unprofessional. Your visitors should understand what you are trying to communicate instantly, as soon as they see your page. You don't want your visitors to be distracted or confused, which is why you need to limit the graphics you use and avoid anything like loud music or a less than pleasant design. Your page's design should work with your copy to help potential clients as well as to present them with a professional image.

Last but not least, make sure you don't put a 'reset' button on your squeeze page. Your goal is to get people to sign up and not to leave.

When somebody visits your page, they should have only two options: either subscribe or hit the back button. Your conversion rate will improve significantly with a direct squeeze page.

To conclude, you need to develop and improve your squeeze page regularly if you want to generate long-term results. You can't just create the page and then forget all about is because that's not the way to good conversions, you have to tweak it whenever it requires it. You will be able to gather all the data you need to determine how well your squeeze page is performing and what should be changed to make it more effective by reading your traffic reports and analyzing other statistics.
